Mark Kogelnik

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Mark Kogelnik is an experienced leadership coach, consultant, and assessment specialist focused primarily on manufacturers, though his expertise extends across industries. He partners closely with organizations to deliver tailored hiring assessments, personalized coaching, leadership development, and culture audits that strengthen alignment and build high-performing teams.

With over 20 years of experience, Mark coaches leaders at every stage—from first-time managers to senior executives—helping them achieve results through an action-oriented, outcomes-focused approach. His coaching style is relational and friendly, grounded in consistency, trust, and a commitment to long-term partnerships rather than transactional engagements.

Before founding Noble Hill Consulting in 2020, Mark spent 15 years with a boutique consulting firm serving clients nationwide and internationally. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from Youngstown State University and a Master of Arts in Psychology & Diversity Management from Cleveland State University. Mark is a Certified Executive Coach and brings valuable insight from his earlier years working directly in manufacturing companies in human resources, experience that gives him a deep understanding of how to develop talent and drive performance in manufacturing environments.

Mark’s commitment to development extends into his personal life as well. He regularly revisits the same assessments he uses with clients, not just to stay sharp, but because he values ongoing self-awareness and continuous improvement. His results reflect his strengths: empathetic, observant, and always looking for ways to get better.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys traveling with his wife, Lacey, staying active, and getting pulled into a good book on leadership or financial wellness.

What’s Behind the Name?

The name Noble Hill is a personal one. It’s a loose translation of Kogelnik, our family name with roots in the Slovenia region. When we launched the company in July 2020, a few months into a global pandemic. It was a time marked by uncertainty, but also by clarity and conviction.

We chose Noble Hill because it reflects both a connection to family and the kind of work we strive to do: grounded, meaningful, and built to last. It’s also easy to say (unlike Kogelnik!), easy to remember, and rich in purpose—just like the coaching and consulting we offer our clients.

This business has always been more than a job. It’s a calling. And we’re grateful to walk this path with people who care as deeply about leadership, culture, and growth as we do.

Thank you for your trust.
